We're tracking a power outage in the Aiea/Salt Lake area. Lights are reportedly out at the Toys 'R Us store and affecting Camp Smith. We're awaiting word back from HECO on the source of the problem, number of customers affected and timeline for service to be restored.
For the fourth time in a month, teachers and students will gather before and after school for a "work to the rule" protest. Some 97 schools are taking part in the first picket since the HSTA rejected the latest contract offer from the State.

New images are coming into our newsroom this morning showing widespread flooding and damage from Cyclone Evan in American Samoa.
