More HECO maintenance work, Don Quixote robbery, Teachers continue to picket, Journey guitarist on Sunrise

TRAFFIC ALERT: HECO MAINTENANCE WORK

HECO crews are doing maintenance work this morning from the Houghtailing exit off the H-1 Westbound to Waiakamilo. The exit is open, but there's only one lane going mauka. Sunrise will update you on traffic hotspots every 10 minutes.

DON QUIXOTE ROBBERY

Police are searching for men who robbed the Don Quixote in Waipahu around 10:30 last night. They pulled a gun on security and took off with merchandise in a dark blue pick up truck.

BACK TO DRAWING BOARD FOR TEACHERS

The Teachers Union says the latest contract offer from the State is not good enough. The Union rejected the 2 year deal after productive talks between both sides. Teachers from nearly 90 schools are planning to picket for a fourth time this Thursday.
