Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton will take a dive into reality television.
The Kauai native will compete against other celebrities in an Olympic-style diving competition called "Stars in Danger", according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show runs contestants through a crash course in diving techniques, including high diving and synchronized dives, taught by Olympic diving medalist, Troy Dumais.
Some of the other competitors on the new series are Jwoww of the "Jersey Shore", former NFL player Terrell Owens and Antonio Sabato, Jr.
Hamilton lost her left arm in a shark attack off Kauai in 2003 when she was 13-years-old. Her recovery and return to surfing inspired a book and film.
