The Mutual Housing Association of Hawai'i announced on Thursday that it is now accepting applications for 120 of its currently-under construction Ko`oloa`ula apartments in East Kapolei.
Rental applications for Ko`oloa`ula are available on Mutual Housing's website http://www.mutual-housing.org or can be ordered by calling 550-3800. All applications must be mailed in and post marked no later than Monday, January 14, 2013 in order to be eligible for a lottery to determine the priority for processing applications.
The lottery will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 9:00 am at the Department of Hawaiian Homeland's Hale Ponoi meeting room.
The new rental community will include one to four-bedroom apartments within three-story townhouse buildings. The complex is located one block from the Salvation Army's Kroc Center and the first stop in Honolulu's planned rail transit system.
