KAILUA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Honolulu Police and CrimeStoppers are looking for a man they suspect of stealing a woman's credit card while her home in Kailua was being fumigated.

On Oct. 16, at approximately 10:10 a.m., officers were sent to a home

on Hamakua Drive on a report of a possible burglary in progress. The home had been tented for termites, and an employee of the fumigation company heard noises coming from inside.

Honolulu Police spent more than seven hours at the house thinking a burglar was still inside. In reality, the suspect was out having a field day racking up thousands of dollars on stolen credit cards.

A detective requested surveillance video from an ATM where the card had been used, and the suspect was seen in that video. The surveillance images also showed him driving a white vehicle.

The suspect is wanted for fraudulent use of credit card.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at

955-8300, or *CRIME on your mobile device.
