WAIKIKI (HawaiiNewsNow) -
A 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital in
serious condition early Sunday morning after he was reportedly stabbed multiple
times during an attack in Waikiki.
Police say the victim and another
male, both 19-years-old, were attacked by four men in their twenties in the
vicinity of Nahua Street and Kuhio Avenue at around 3:00 a.m.
The victim of the stabbing was
reportedly trying to help his friend, who was being attacked by the four other
men, when the stabbing took place. Police say the suspects fled the area and
have not been located.
An attempted murder investigation has
been opened.
