The Rainbow Wahine volleyball team had the Huskies at match
point, but couldn't finish. Washington
could, and did.
In a thrilling five set match, Dave Shoji's squad served for
the match at 25-24 in the 4th.
The Huskies staved it off, won the set, then eventually the match in the
5th at 15-11.
Final score: 25-20, 20-25, 25-19, 25-27, 11-15. Washington advances to the 3rd
round of the NCAA tournament, while UH finishes its season at 27-3 overall.
Emily Hartong led the way for the Wahine, with 30 kills. Jane Croson added 20.
