TORONTO (HawaiiNewsNow) – Former Warrior and Roosevelt High graduate Chad Owens racked up 103 total yards from scrimmage including a first half receiving touchdown as the Toronto Argonauts beat the Calgary Stampeders 35-22 on Sunday in the 100th Grey Cup.
Owens teammates Pacino Horne and Dontrelle Inman also scored in the first half while Andre Durie added a touchdown in the second half for the Argos, who built a 24-6 lead and never trailed at the Rogers Centre.
Toronto earned its 16th Grey Cup title and first since 2004.
