With more than 400 of Hawaii's best handcrafters and food vendors, the Islandwide Christmas Crafts & Food Expo is the must-see craft fair of the Christmas shopping season. If you're going to hit only one craft fair for the holidays, this one is it!

At the popular expo, attended by 30,000 shoppers each year, highlights include:

* Amazing prize giveaways

Shoppers have numerous ways to win $10,000 in cash prizes. Sign up at an entry box. Post on Twitter or Instagram using the #IslandwideExpo hashtag. Or play one of the fun live games at the expo! In addition, each of the three nights, the Islandwide Expo gives away a 32-inch Sony high-definition TV. The giveaways are the Islandwide Expo's way of saying thank you to its loyal customers.

* Exciting, nonstop family entertainment!

Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Melveen Leed headlines the Islandwide Expo's lineup of continuous entertainment. Leed presents a FREE concert for expo shoppers at 7 p.m. Saturday. Other exciting acts throughout the weekend include the Hawaii Lion Dance Association, Honolulu Handbell Society, Kalani Basketball Freestyle, Boogie Down Productions & Street Jamz Werkout, bon dance by Miyazono Miyo Buyo Kai, and much more.

Shoppers and vendors alike are doing a big part in supporting local small business by participating in the Islandwide Crafts & Food Expo. The expo is run by a small kamaaina family business that supports hundreds of other small businsess vendors via its craft-fair events. "You'll have a great feeling shopping at the Islandwide Crafts & Food Expo," said Expo Director Caroline Infante. "Supporting local business builds our economy and supports Hawaii's most exciting independent artisans."
