Suspect arrested in connection with Waipahu, Pearl City robberies

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police have arrested a man in connection with three Oahu robberies.

Police say on November 3 at 10:15 p.m., Kenneth Makanani was located and arrested for three counts of first-degree robbery.

Police say Makanani was identified after his fingerprints were found after a robbery at the Waipahu Tesoro Gas Station.

He was also positively identified in the Road Runner Liquor, and the Pearl City Market robbery.

Makanani is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 20.
