HONOLULU – (Hawaii Athletics) The
University of Hawai'i men's basketball team will hold a rally on Thursday, Nov.
8, at the UH Campus Center beginning at 11:45 a.m.. Rainbow Warrior players
will meet and greet their fellow UH students, as well as faculty and staff,
while also giving out an assortment of prizes during the hour-long event.
The rally will allow the players to help increase awareness about their
upcoming season and encourage a more spirited student body. Students are
welcome to participate in a question-and-answer session during the rally. The
team will distribute schedule cards and UH merchandise.
UH Manoa students receive free admission to all regular-season men's basketball
home games, with the exception of the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic. A
valid UH Manoa student identification card is required.
The rally will occur the day before the team's 2012-13 regular-season opener on
Friday, Nov. 9, in the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Rainbow Classic at the Stan
Sheriff Center.
