Shooter Search, Election Eve, Vog Timeline

SEARCH FOR SHOOTER

Police are searching for a gunman who shot a man several times in Waipahu last night. EMS officials say a 39 year old was taken in serious condition to the trauma center. The shooting suspect is described as in his 40's, about 5'4", 130 pounds. Authorities tell us the shooter and victim are acquaintances. They believe the suspect has a small caliber handgun.

SHARK ATTACKS UPDATE

We should learn if beaches where sharks attacked over the weekend will reopen today. On Maui, Mark Riglos was with his diving partner for a fishing tournament. He was about 300 yards off shore at Waiehu Beach Park when he felt a tug on his ankle. His partner pulled him to shore, away from the 12 to 15 foot tiger shark. On Kauai, a shark bit the end of a surfer's board at the "Davidson's" surf break near Kekaha. The surfer wasn't hurt.
