The post-game celebration for Waianae High School's junior varsity football team was put on hold on Saturday, when two players were injured after a rock was thrown through the window of the team bus following the Searider's 2012 OIA JV Championship victory at Campbell High School.

Two student-athletes were taken by ambulance to a local hospital, according to Waianae Athletic Director Glenn Tokunaga. Neither student was seriously injured, and both were released from the hospital later that night.

Tokunaga says the team's bus was leaving the Ewa Beach area on its way back to campus when the rock was thrown through ther window of the bus. A police vehicle that was escorting the bus out of the area called for an ambulance, and the paramedics transported the two football players to the hospital.
