Pacific Rim Jazz Festival(HawaiiNewsNow) - Apaulo Music Productions presents the Third Annual Pacific Rim Jazz Festival on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at The Hawaii Convention Center, Kalakaua Ballroom, 4 til 10 p.m. In its tradition of providing a great entertainment and festival experience, this spectacular event will offer an incredible line-up of international artists, national stars and local favorites. The Festival will be benefiting The Kapolei Foundation: an organization that grants scholarships to deserving students in the Leeward Community of Oahu. One of the goals of the Festival is to raise funds to provide a music scholarship program that will help to promote and nurture Hawaii's culture and art.
The Entertainers featured on November 3 are Guitarist Russ Freeman and The Rippingtons (Grammy-nominated powerhouse band with eighteen studio recordings including their new release "Cote D'azur"), Deniece Williams (Four Grammy Awards and Nine Grammy Nominations and Number One Hits Songs including "Let's Hear it For The Boy" and "Gonna Take a Miracle"), Kaori Kobayashi (Voted the "Most beautiful saxophonist in Asia" and five million YouTube Hits for her video "Nothing is Gonna Change My Love For You"), Rick Braun (World Renown Jazz Trumpeter and toured with Sade, Rod Stewart and War), Brian Simpson (Most sought after pianist in smooth jazz and Music Director for Dave Koz), Michael Paulo (One of the most prolific and successful Saxophonists from Hawaii and an Internationally Recognized Musician), Lani Misalucha (Megastar Vocalist from the Philippines and Headliner in Las Vegas and Waikiki known for her five octave range), Rene Paulo (Hawaii's "King of the Keyboard" and one of the most respected musicians of his generation), Starr Kalahari (2012 Na Hoku Hanohano Awardee in the categories of "Best Jazz Album" and "Most Promising Artist") and many artists to be added. Al Waterson is the emcee for this event.

VIP Reserved Seating is $130.00 and includes gourmet food tasting stations prepared by Hawaii's Top Chefs from some of Hawaii's favorite restaurants including 3660 on the Rise, Sidestreet Inn, Laverne's, The Chart House, Sarrentos, Jade Dynasty and more. Platinum Seating is $300.00 per person and includes Reserved Table Seating with the best view of the stage and five-course plated dinner. All tickets are non-refundable. After two incredibly successful Pacific Rim Jazz Festivals in 2010 and 2011, this event has become the premiere smooth jazz production of the year in Hawaii with tickets selling quickly.
