Mâkeke Kapolei Farmers' and Green Market celebrates anniversary

KAPOLEI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Mâkeke Kapolei Farmers' and Green Market is celebrating its 1 year anniversary Thursday, October 25th from 3:00 - 6:30 p.m., with free cupcakes to the first 100 customers, live entertainment, door prizes, pumpkin carving & costume contest, petting zoo, pony rides and much more. Executive and Program director Pauline Sato said the market features over 30 vendors with local farm fresh fruits & vegetables, baked goods, organic butters, local honey & peanut butters, jams, local organic beef, fresh fish, seafood, native and landscaping plants, vegetable plant starters, food trucks, arts & crafts and more. Plus, there are weekly workshops including cooking and cultural presentations. The market runs weekly, Thursdays, 3:00 - 6:30 p.m., Kapolei High School parking lot. EBT/Snap accepted.
