HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Over 700 high school students came to Kapiolani Community College on Tuesday to learn more about careers in the medical profession. The college held a Health-E Fair, where KCC students gave tours and conducted hands on demonstrations and health screenings.

High school students took part in several demonstrations, including blood pressure tests, body mass index and stroke assessments, therapeutic massages, CPR and first aid, fitness tests and emergency medical services ambulance.

Angelo Ruiz, a sophomore at Mililani High School, learned a lot about CPR.

"We learned how to do CPR and how to like hold your palm correctly and how to do thirty compressions every time until you get a response and then when you get a response you flip them to their side, that's what we learned."
