HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Slopes of Diamondhead Hui presents its 12th annual pre-Halloween costume party at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower, a benefit for Make-A-Wish Hawaii.
Last year was a sell-out with more than 3,000 people attending. 100% of ticket proceeds are donated to Make-a-Wish Hawaii, with all checks for tickets being written directly to the charity.
Slopes of Diamond Head Hui founder David Hayakawa explains, "The Hui is comprised of 14 young professionals from all walks of life who come together to host this event for their friends and friends of friends; while benefiting a great cause like Make-a-Wish Hawaii in the process. We are excited to once again be hosting the first costume party of the Halloween season. We look forward to seeing the creative costumes our guests come up with, especially the ones who dress with a group theme." Check out photos from past "Crazy, Sexy, GHOUL" parties HERE!
Ticket price is $35.00. There will be no ticket sales at the door. I.D.s are required for entrance.
Parking is available at Aloha Tower, Topa Financial Building, Harbor Square, and the Harbor Court Garage.
Since 1982, Make-a-Wish Hawaii has granted wishes to over 800 local children between the ages of 2 ½, and 18, who have life threatening medical conditions. This dream-come-true experience enriches the children with hope, strength, joy, and aloha. In concert with granting wishes for the keikis of Hawaii, Make-a-Wish Hawaii also assists other chapters by granting more than 650 additional wishes to other children annually who choose to visit the Islands as their one true wish.
