Suspect wanted after robbing two stores at gunpoint

PEARL CITY, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public's help in locating a man who is wanted for robbing two markets in Pearl City-Waipahu area.

Police say on October 9 at approximately 4:32 p.m., the suspect entered the Pearl City Market located at 909 Lehua Avenue and took out a handgun.

Police say the man demanded money and then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Just hours later police say the same man walked into the Roadrunner Market located at 94-266 Leoku Street.

He took out a handgun, and demanded money then took off in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at

955-8300, or *CRIME on your cellular phone.  The public may now send anonymous text and web tips. Text "CS808" plus your message to 274637 or CRIMES.

CrimeStoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect.
