Fire crews are battling a 20 acre brush fire at the Forest Reserve above Laupahoehoe on the Big Island.
The fire is actively burning and a dozer is working on fire breaks to contain it. The Hawaii Fire Department and the Department of Fish and Wildlife will continue to work on putting out the fire.
The brush fire started around 12:31 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10th.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown. We will have more on the fire as information becomes available.
