What do you feel is the biggest issue facing the Hawaiian community today? And what would you do to solve it?

The Hawaiian Community has a huge Kuleana to our islands and to our future generations. We must stand up and provide leadership and traditional knowledge that will insure a sustainable future for our islands.

We need to stop the ongoing tide of destruction of our lands and natural resources. We need to unify our Resources of Land, Money, and People and pick ourselves up. We need to stop fighting with each other and begin to put our energies into insuring a better future for our lands and children.

There is a War being waged against our environment in the name of profits. We are the environment...Haloa the taro was our first born, Haloa the man is the second born, and his Kuleana is to protect Haloa the taro, and thus insure our survival and a sustainable future." I WANT TO UNIFY NOT ONLY HAWAIIANS, BUT ALL THE PEOPLE OF HAWAII TO PROTECT OUR RESOURCES!"
