AU Baseball announces full slate of Dec. baseball camps

Auburn Baseball has released its Winter Camp schedule for 2012 and will offer four camps in December with opportunities for kids from ages six through high school seniors.  Coach Pawlowski and his entire staff will be on hand for each of these camps to instruct and work with all of the participating campers.  Included in this Winter Camp schedule is a return to Hoover, AL and Hoover High School for the Auburn baseball Academy Road Show on Sunday, December 2.  This will be the Tigers' fourth year to offer the Road Show and their second trip to Hoover.  The Road Show Camp is a great chance for those players who may not be able to make it to a camp in Auburn to still have the opportunity to attend an Auburn Baseball camp directed and instructed by the Auburn staff.  The remaining three camps in December will take place on Auburn's campus at Plainsman Park.  A complete summary of all upcoming baseball camp opportunities is as follows:

December 2:  Road Show at Hoover High School

This camp is for current 7th-12th graders and will run from 10am-4pm with check-in from 9am-10am.  The cost of this camp is $100.  In addition to the entire Auburn staff, we will hire area high school and college coaches to also serve as instructors for this camp.  All aspects of the game will be covered at this camp from hitting drills, base running, and defense.  Registration is limited and available on a first come first serve basis.

December 8-9: Select 25 Infield/Outfield Camp at Auburn University

This camp is restricted to primary infielders and outfielders in grades 9-12 and limited to the first 25 participants who register.  The entire Auburn staff will work closely with the campers at this camp with in-depth instruction and evaluation in both defense and offense.  This camp also offers the opportunity for video analysis of your mechanics using our Right View Pro video technology.  The cost of this camp is $695 and is available on a first come first serve basis.

December 15-16: Select 25 Pitcher/Catcher Camp at Auburn University

This camp is restricted to primary pitchers and catchers in grades 9-12 and limited to the first 25 participants who register.  The entire Auburn staff will work closely with the campers at this camp with in-depth instruction and evaluation in both defense and offense for catchers.  Pitchers will receive instruction from Coach Pawlowski in many areas including mechanics, grips, the mental side of pitching, PFP's, and more.  This camp also offers the opportunity for video analysis of your mechanics using our Right View Pro video technology.  The cost of this camp is $695 and is available on a first come first serve basis.

December 29-30: Youth and High School Holiday Camp at Auburn University

These are two camps run simultaneously on the campus of Auburn University for campers ages 6-high school seniors.  The Youth Camp is for campers ages 6-12, and the high school camp is for ages 13-high school seniors.  All camp activities will be held at various athletic facilities on Auburn's campus.  The entire Auburn staff, high school and college coaches, and current Auburn players will comprise the camp staff that will be working with and instructing the campers at the holiday camp.  These camps will offer instruction in all aspects of the game including hitting, base running, defense, and more.  We will also have various competitions and games during the camp.  The cost of this camp is $230 and is available on a first come first serve basis.

All camps have on-line registration available on our website at www.auburnbaseballacademy.com

You may also find more detailed information about each camp  on the website.  If you have any further questions regarding any of our upcoming camps, please contact our Camp Director, Scott Duval, by e-mail at duvaljs@auburn.edu .

LSU went back to work this week in preparation for the Citrus Bowl against Notre Dame. A win would be nice, but this is also a chance to get some freshman playing time to get ready for 2018. Well it'll come in practice only. "Those guys will get more reps. So I'll give them a couple of more reps at the end of a team period. It's sending the wrong message to our football team.
