HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police say a man who taunted riders and then exposed himself on a city bus was placed under arrest Saturday afternoon.
Police say a man was waiting for the bus near Iolani Palace, when he was approached by the 29-year-old suspect in an aggressive manner. Police say he ignored the man and boarded the bus. While on the bus he felt someone push against him and saw it was the suspect, who began taunting him again. He tried to move seats but the suspect followed him and began attracting the attention of other passengers on the bus.
Police say the suspect then exposed his penis to nearby passengers.
The bus driver was informed and the bus stopped in front of the Army Museum on Kalia Road.
On-duty HPD officers were contacted and the suspect was located on Kalia Road after he had exited the bus.
The suspect was identified by both the complainant and witnesses on the bus and was arrested.
