Former Warrior safety Mana Silva cut by Cowboys

IRVING, TEXAS (HawaiiNewsNow) - Former Warrior Mana Silva was released by the Dallas Cowboys Thursday. The rookie safety signed with the Cowboys after being released by the Baltimore Ravens during the preseason.

In three games this season, Silva, a Kamehameha-Hawaii alum, racked up a pair of tackles on defense and one on special teams.

The Cowboys needed roster space after signing punter Brian Mooreman who will fill in for injured punter Chris Jones.
