A two day police 'detail' on Kauai's Westside resulted in the arrest of six people who were wanted on a total of 32 drug-related charges and one criminal contempt of court.
The effort was conducted by four officers assigned to the Waimea-Kôloa district, who located and detained all six subjects between Friday and Saturday of last week.
Tavis Apo, age 37 of Waimea, was arrested for third degree Promotion of a Dangerous Drug and Drug Paraphernalia. He remains in Police Cellblock in lieu of $2,000 bail.
Rae Nell Clagett, a 22-year-old Kôloa woman, was arrested for 16 counts of Prohibited Acts with a Controlled Substance. Clagett posted her $16,000 bail.
Marcy Fontallia, age 47 of Kaumakani, was arrested on four counts of Promoting a Dangerous Drug in the third degree and four counts of Drug Paraphernalia. His bail was set at $8,000.
Rosewell Jaramilla of Kaumakani, age 40, was arrested on three counts of third degree Promotion of a Dangerous Drug and three counts of Drug Paraphernalia. His bail was set at $6,000.
Coty Lancaster, a 33-year-old homeless woman living in Hanapçpç, was arrested for Criminal Contempt of Court. Her bail was set at $400.
Delano Yasay of Kaumakani, age 42, was arrested for Revocation/Modification of Probation and was held without bail.
"I commend these officers for taking the initiative to effectuate these arrests," said Assistant Chief of the Patrol Services Bureau Ale Quibilan. "Through their actions we were able to get six drug offenders off of our streets in just two days time. Our residents, particularly those living in the district, are grateful for their efforts."
