HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
HONOLULU – Three weeks after its initial meeting, the
University of Hawaii search advisory committee met again Tuesday morning. The committee's task is to find a new
Athletics Director for UH Manoa.
Since the job was posted on the school's online employment
board on September 12, over 60 applications have been received.
A subcommittee was formed and tasked with "recommending whether to engage an outside search firm
and, if so, the scope of that search ", UH Manoa Director of
Communications Diane Chang told Hawaii News Now. Chang stated the subcommittee has identified
a firm to do a "full search".
The search advisory committee
will submit their final recommendations for the position to UH Manoa Chancellor
Tom Apple by early November.
