HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The candidates for Honolulu mayor focused on issues important to senior citizens at a forum at Harris United Methodist Church.
"The best way to help seniors is to keep the cost of living down," Ben Cayetano said "We need to treat seniors as if they are our kupuna" Kirk Caldwell said.
Caldwell talked about the need to make streets safer for seniors to cross.
Cayetano talked about the need to improve services seniors utilize like the Handi-Van.
The forum was sponsored by the Kokua Council.
