Permit Pulled, Rail Bone & Makaha Murder

The State Land Board today revoked the permit of a Big Island kayak tour company. The company was allegedly involved in the death of New York teenager. Jim Mendoza reports at 5.


Following the discovery of a human bone along the rail route in Kakaako, the Director of the state Department of Land and Natural Resources, says the origin of the bone is still in question. Tim Sakahara picks up the story from there.

Also, we get our first look at the man, police say, shot another man in the face in Makaha a few days ago. Police say 23-year-old, Chad Duran, shot Chris Medeiros at about 8:15 Wednesday night on Lahaina Street. Medeiros later died.
