HONOLULU (AP) - The girlfriend of an Australian tourist recently sentenced in a Hawaii watercraft crash that killed a California teen will likely plead guilty or no contest.

Natasha Ryan's attorney says she wants to enter one of those pleas by mail. She did not attend a hearing Friday on a charge of hindering the prosecution of Tyson Dagley.

Dagley was sentenced to probation in the crash that killed 16-year-old Kristen Fonseca of Vacaville, Calif.

Ryan's attorney Walter Rodby asked for a two-month continuance to prepare a possible plea bargain. He won't say whether she's returned to Australia.

Police say Ryan told investigators Dagley was sitting, looking straight ahead and that she didn't see the crash. However, deleted videos were recovered from her camera showing the crash and Dagley standing on the watercraft.
