HONOLULU – Warriors wide receiver Billy Ray Stutzmann
fractured a bone in his hand Wednesday at practice, and is expected to be out
three to six weeks. Stutzmann is
expected to undergo surgery on Thursday.
Said teammate Scott
Harding "Everyone is trying to mark their position on the team and go hard
at practice, which is good. But we just
gotta learn to thud, practice a bit better, practice more professionally. Hopefully we get him back pretty soon."
Added defensive end Beau
Yap "We have to learn how to practice better---go hard but keep each other
safe, but like don't go to the ground. Just
learn how to practice better."
Stutzmann had three
receptions for 49 yards against USC. He
led the team in receptions last year with 78.
