Tsunami Watch Canceled, Warriors in LA, Mariska Hargitay

BRIEF TSUNAMI SCARE FOR HAWAII

We woke up to a tsunami scare this morning. A 7.9 Earthquake in the Philippines briefly triggered a tsunami watch for Hawaii this morning. It was canceled about an hour ago. However, there is still a tsunami warning in effect for the Philippines, Indonesia, and Palau. We'll have live team coverage ahead on Sunrise with Dan Cooke tracking the severe weather and damage and Ramsay Wharton live at the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.

The Republican National Convention wrapped up with Mitt Romney accepting his party's nomination to be President, but did his speech accomplish what he set out to do with voters?
