Ventimilia Earns All-League Honors

PORTLAND, Ore. – (Hawaii Athletics) The 2012 All-West Coast baseball teams were announced, and University of Hawai'i second baseman Stephen Ventimilia was named to the second team.
Ventimilia, who is in his sophomore year at Hawai'i, played for the Wenatchee Applesox this summer. In 48 games, he led the team with 19 stolen bases and was fourth in hitting with a .307 average. He also added 35 runs scored, 21 RBI, and belted five doubles.
Ventimilia had a season-best performance in a win over Kelowna. He batted 3-4 with two runs and a pair of RBI.
He was also one of five Applesox player to earn all-league honors.
