UH punter sentenced in DUI case

A University of Hawaii football player will pay a $200 fine and must attend driver education classes as part of his sentencing for drunken driving.

Alex Dunnachie who is a punter for the University of Hawaii Warriors pleaded no contest earlier this month to drunk driving. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on July 7.

At Friday's sentencing, Dunnachie also had his license revoked for a year. Warriors Head Coach Norm Chow has suspended the 21-year-old indefinitely.
