HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - JFC International is pulling its Seto Fumi 1.7 ounce jars of furikake from store shelves, however Hawaii health officials say the affected batch was not sold in the state.
According to officials, the product contains undeclared egg yolk, soybeans and wheat, which is not stated on the label.
The involved product bears an UPC/Bar code 0 11152 41464, it is packaged in a clear glass jar with a plastic lid. Lot code/Best before date of 04.05.2014 is stamped on top of the lid. The net weight declaration is 1.7 oz (50g).
The Hawaii Department of Health says the 'lot numbers' that are being recalled are not in sold in Hawaii.
No cases of illness have been reported.
