HONOLULU (AP) - A Honolulu hospital and a military hospital are partnering to provide behavioral health services to Hawaii's children.

U.S. Sen. Daniel Inouye is expected to speak during a ceremony at Wahiawa Elementary School Wednesday for its new school-based behavioral health building.

The Queen's Medical Center has partnered with Tripler Army Medical Center and the state Department of Education to expand Tripler's behavioral health services to children and families of civilians or non-Department of Defense dependents.

Tripler has had a school behavioral health team for more than a decade and this is the first time the services will be expanded outside the Army community.
