that it opens the season on the road. Hawai'i fell at Nevada, 2-0, then bounced
back with a wild 5-4 win at UNLV two days later.
Five different players scored for the Rainbow Wahine in the win over the
Rebels. It was the highest output by a UH team in a mainland match since a 5-0
win over San Francisco in 2008. Hawai'i also picked up an elusive road win,
just its second in its last 15 mainland matches.
This week begins a stretch of six straight home matches for the Rainbow Wahine.
UH looks to protect its home turf, where it went undefeated in its last five
matches (4-0-1) of the 2011 season.
