Fire investigators say a brushfire that blackened about 10 acres near Honokai Hale in Kapolei appears to have been intentionally set.
The fire started around 2 p.m. A rancher in the area says the flames came close to his property, however his livestock were never in danger.
Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area is asked to call police. The fire was contained around 3:30 p.m.
