HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Honolulu Police Department officer who died during a training exercise in Mililani will be laid to rest.
A final salute and funeral service for HPD officer Chad Morimoto is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 11.
According to HPD, the funeral motorcade will depart Borthwick Mortuary at 7 a.m. and will drive past the Alapai headquarters for the final salute at about 7:10 a.m.
The motorcade will then head to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints' Honolulu Hawaii West Stake Center located on Beckley Street at 1 p.m.
The public is asked to park at Farrington High School and Kalakaua Middle School.
The burial will take place at the Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery in Kaneohe at 3 p.m.
