Airline flights to Hawaii add revenue to the state

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - New routes to Hawaii continue to drive the states tourism industry. David Uchiyama, Hawaii Tourism Authority Vice President of Brand Management says the recent flight additions will lead to increased expenditures and revenue for the state. The HTA will be addressing this and much more at their upcoming 2012 Hawaii Tourism Conference August 23-24 at the Hawaii Convention Center. Uchiyama says the event will have a number of featured conference speakers, including Brad DiFiore, Managing Partner from Ailevon Air Service Consulting, will discuss how he helps communities develop strategies to attain new or improved air service, identify regional traffic and revenue leakage, and forecast new route opportunities.
