JET SKI CRASH VICTIM DIES
State officials have opened an investigation into the death of a 16-year-old girl who died from injuries that she received in a jet ski crash. It happened Sunday at Keehi Lagoon. Authorities say the girl and a 20-year-old man collided while riding jet skis. Jim Mendoza has more on the victim and the investigation in a live report tonight at 5.
CAYETANO STILL IN THE HOSPITAL
Honolulu Mayoral candidate Ben Cayetano is still in the hospital recovering from an apparent bleeding ulcer; a condition he's suffered from before. The former Governor was admitted to the Queen's Medical Center for treatment on Sunday. Will he be released from the hospital in time for the Primary Election this Saturday?
CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE GETS HUGE ENDORSEMENT
Also at 5 p.m., we'll tell you which Hawaii congressional candidate is getting the backing of the U.S. Senate's most powerful member.
WAIKIKI FIRE INVESTIGATION
Honolulu fire investigators are trying to determine what caused a Waikiki apartment to go up in flames. It happened at around 6:45 a.m. at the Monte Vista Condos. Ramsay Wharton brings us the dramatic video shot from a neighbor who witnessed the early morning emergency.
