Kardiac Kid asks for one dime at a time

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Heart disease affects more than just adults, it takes a toll our children too. Keegan Passos, an American Heart Association Kardiac Kid, was born with congenital heart defects that have made it challenging for him to live life like a normal kid. Passos has had many surgeries and procedures to keep him alive and well. Many of these surgeries have been through the advancement of research and science from the American Heart Association. Keegan has decided that he wanted to give back to the American heart Association so he began collecting dimes for the Heart Walk. All of the dimes he collects will go directly to Pediatric Cardiac Research and he has collected over $715 in dimes (he will have his container of dimes with him).
