Former Gov. Ben Cayetano, is in the hospital tonight. Reports are that he is suffering from a bleeding ulcer. In recent polling, Cayetano leads the race for Honolulu Mayor. Tonight at 5 p.m., we'll hear from Cayetano's wife on his condition and when he's expected to be released from the hospital.
After several years, the State is now making repairs to the freeway lights along the H-2 Freeway after thieves stole copper lines to the lights. But is the State putting in safeguards to prevent the same sort of thing from happening again? Jim Mendoza will have more on that story.
C&C HALAWA YARD THREAT
It's a Hawaii News Now exclusive: two workers at a City corporation yard in Halawa are under investigation for threatening a security guard. Keoki Kerr has the story that involves a wild pig, beer, and reportedly unruly City workers.
