LAHAINA (HawaiiNewsNow)- More than 40 firefighters are dealing with a stubborn wildfire in Lahaina.
The Maui Fire Department says the blaze broke out shortly before 4 p.m. near Puukolii.
Roughly 30 acres have been burned and the fire is about 50 percent contained.
Crews will continue to monitor the blaze.
According to officials, the fire came within 50 feet of a home, but no damages were reported.
The cause is undetermined.
