HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii News Now has learned that Colt Brennan's blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit.
Sources tell us that the former UH quarterback's BAC was higher than .15, that's double the legal limit of .08.
Brennan was pulled over late Wednesday night in Kailua after reportedly having drinks downtown with a friend.
A Hawaii News Now crew saw a hat, gum and Bob Marley cigarette papers inside the rental car Brennan was driving. Police say they also found drugs in the vehicle.
Brennan was booked on suspicion of DUI and promoting a dangerous drug, which is a felony. He was released pending investigation and has not been charged.
