PALOLO VALLEY (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaiian Electric Company restored power to customers in Palolo Valley after a vehicle crashed into a pole.
The incident happened at about 4:30 a.m. Thursday on 10th Avenue and Kiwila Street.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the crash.
According to HECO, 1200 customers were initially without power.
Power was restored to all customers just before 7:30 a.m.
HECO crews remain on scene. They are replacing the pole and repairing damaged lines.
At this time, it is unknown how long the work will take.
