Miss T.E.E.N Hawaii becomes Miss T.E.E.N. United States

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Miss T.E.E.N Hawaii 2012 Ashlee Kozuma, who was crowned earlier this year in March, was crowned Miss T.E.E.N United States on June 30th in Houston, TX. State representatives competed for the title and chance to represent the USA in the Miss T.E.E.N pageant next summer. Miss T.E.E.N. pageant, an acronym for Teenagers Exemplifying Excellence Nationally, is the international pageant for teenagers, including countries like Russia, South Africa, Brazil and the Philippines. The Miss T.E.E.N. United States pageant is the national contest for teenagers from across the country. Both T.E.E.N. contests were for young women ages 15-19.

Also crowned in Houston, TX the Miss United States Intercontinental, where Miss Hawaii Intercontinental-Pono Fernandez placed 4th Runner up.

The Miss T.E.E.N Hawaii is produced by New Media Productions LLC, which is owned by former Miss Hawaii USA & Mrs. Hawaii, Alicia Michioka Jones. The Miss T.E.E.N Hawaii 2013 is slated for April 21, 2013 at the Hawaii Convention Center and will be televised statewide.
