Special 10:30 Newscast Tonight

Aloha friends,

The newscast starts at 10:30 tonight because of KITV's Honolulu mayoral debate.  That's no typo.  Tune in to see why we aired our competitor's program during primetime.

Besides that, it's been a very busy news day.

We'll bring you new developments on the UH concert debacle.  Who's jobs are on the line?  And why is the FBI now involved?

Also, we have new reaction from a public meeting in West Oahu about a proposed infectious disease laboratory.  Why are neighbors against it?

We also got an interesting response from Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle on Bill 11.  That's the measure passed by the council that bans virtually all business activity at Kailua Beach. Will the mayor sign it into law?

We'll also report on another mongoose that's turned up on Kauai, a fine for a local gas supplier, and a big oxycodone bust on Maui.

And don't forget former Hurricane Daniel.  When is that rain coming?

Hope to see you at 10:30,

Keahi
