High surf advisory extended to Friday

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The National Weather Service has extended a high surf advisory for all south-facing shores of Hawaii.

Surf is expected to be between five and eight feet Friday morning. Wave heights should subside to four to six feet by the afternoon.

The advisory will remain in effect until noon.
