High surf advisory in effect for all south shores

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The National Weather Service has issued a high surf advisory for south-facing shores of all islands.

Forecasters say the advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. Thursday with waves between five and eight feet.

A high surf advisory will produce rip currents and beach erosion.
