Jogger Slashed, 4th of July Crowds & HNN's Ultimate Fan

JOGGER SLASHED AT KAILUA HIGH SCHOOL

Honolulu police say a woman was viciously attacked while jogging at Kailua High School. It happened last Friday at around 8 p.m. Police say a man dressed in black pinned the 25 year old woman against a fence and used a knife to cut her cheek areas. Tim Sakahara has the story at 5.

SCHOOL BUS CUTS

Several Hawaii lawmakers are asking the DOE to reconsider its plan to cut school bus routes. The DOE says 91 routes and more than 2,000 students will be affected due to budget cuts. Jim Mendoza has more from their afternoon meeting.

CROWDS PACK ALA MOANA BEACH PARK

On the eve of the 4th of July holiday, crowds are filling up the Ala Moana shoreline with tents, beach mats and chairs in anticipation of the great fireworks show. Guy Hagi is there with a look at the mad rush as well as your holiday weather forecast.
