Gas prices dropped throughout the islands for the fourth week and the statewide average for regular went down by 18 cents to $4.29, according to the AAA Hawaii Weekend Gas Watch.
The price is 24 cents less than a month ago and 24 cents more than a year ago.
Honolulu's average price dropped to $4.18 a gallon for regular unleaded which is three cents less than a week ago. Thursday's price is 20 cents less than a month ago and 24 cents higher than this time last year.
In Hilo, the average gas price is $4.25 a gallon, 18 cents less than last week, 42 cents less than last month and 23 cents higher than this time last year.
Wailuku's average is $4.71 a gallon, 12 cents less than last week, 18 cents less than last month and 26 cents higher than last year.
